Our wire jewelry is handmade with tarnish resistant lacquered gold or silver plated wire. That means, there is protective coating to prevent discoloration and tarnish from occurring.

With that being said, please avoid frequent contact with water and/or sweat. We recommend removing your jewelry before washing your hands, showering, swimming in pools or hot tubs, exercising, etc. If your jewelry comes in contact with water, be sure to pat until fully dry immediately afterwards. Do not submerge your jewelry in water for frequent or lengthy periods of time as exposure to water will cause the protective coating to break down over time.

Our gold plated stainless steel jewelry can withstand normal exposure to water and sweat. They are tarnish resistant, won’t turn your skin green and are low maintenance.

However, for best care for your pieces, we recommend taking it off before showering and to avoid direct contact with lotions and perfumes.
